jQuery CookieBar. Our answer to EU cookie laws.

In May 2012 laws were passed by the EU government requiring websites to actively inform visitors of the use of cookies (If cookies are used).

After looking at a few different methods of displaying a notice and giving users options for cookie usage on the website, we opted for creating our own plugin, jQuery CookieBar.

CookieBar is a flexible plugin for jQuery. It can easily be adjusted to function exactly as you require, and is easy to style.

If your website uses cookies and/or any features such as Google Analytics, and you do not have a notice visible on your website, install CookieBar now.

If you are using fixed positioning, it should be done within the CSS.

If you want it's position within the HTML to be at the bottom, change option "append" to true. This appends the HTML to the bottom of the page.
